The Hunger Games  “Catching Fire” World Premiere at the Odeon in Leicester Square, London

The brave stars did withstand the rainy cold weather in London and ambled along the red carpet with grace on the one hand and their umbrella on the other hand. The fans were so excited that they were screaming their lungs into bits and pieces – waiting for their preferred star to confer some honour on them and to give them either their autograph or even maybe their telephone number (which they did not…). Jennifer Lawrence becharmed her fans with an appearance in a creamy Christian Dior dress, fighting off the cold droplets of the Londonian rain with little inlays of colourful dots. Donald Sutherland on the other hand fought the cold nasty autumn monster wisely in his warm trench coat, girted with his red tie. Elizabeth Banks conquered the weather with her bright, sunny and shining bell-like dress with cutouts at the hips telling the weather where to go. Liam Hemsworth bestowed honour to his fans in his classic suit and with his handsome smile. Stanley Tucci spoke lengthily to his fans, answered their questions patiently and with fervor, giving them their time, a real gentleman. Jena Malone emerged like a diva from the roaring 1920’s in an outstanding red costume, a red lace dress…

Despite the cold weather, promising the upcoming winter and its frosty tales, the premiere was a total success…the fans could not have been asking for more.

The film

The Movie starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks has achieved worldwide success. The Hunger Games trilogy’s first movie called the Hunger Games shows how Jennifer Lawrence who plays Katniss Everdeen the main character in the movie volunteers to take her sister’s place in the 74th Hunger Games. Each year one male and one female tribute from each of the 12 district’s of the nation Panem are forced to fight to the death until one person stays alive and remains to be crowned as the winner. Katniss teams up with her male tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) to complete the game together. Both break the games rules by trying to die together to end up the cruel tradition of the hunger games.  Of course the gamemakers do not tolerate this…

We are looking foreward to see which challenges the tributes will have to  overcome in the upcoming part!
