All the Italian fans of 80s and electronic music were waiting for Pet Shop Boys to come back to Italy. Fortunately the English duo made by Nail Tennant (vocals) and Chris Lowe (keyboards) has decided to stop in Italy for a gig of their tour called Pandemonium the 23rd of June.  The location was super: the internal garden of “Castello Visconteo” was simply amazing! They are used to choose breathless places, creating a mix between music and the place around them, and we were not disappointed even if we had to wait till 10.20pm to see them perform. The setlist was the following:
01. Intro (More Than A Dream – Dub)
02. Heart
03. Did You See Me Coming
04. Pandemonium / Can You Forgive Her?
05. Love etc.
06. (Integral) Building A Wall
07. Go West
08. Two Divided By Zero
09. Why Don’t We Live Together
10. New York City boy
11. Always On My Mind
12. Closer To Heaven / Left to My Own Devices
13. Do I Have To?
14. Kings Cross
15. The Way It Used To Be
16. Jealousy
17. Suburbia
18. All Over The World
19. Se A Vida È (Discoteca/Domino Dancing)
20. Viva La Vida
21. It’s A Sin
Encore:
22. Being Boring
23. West End Girls

Surprisingly they did a cover of Viva la Vida of Coldplay; the video in the background while singing this song took inspiration from the famous video of depeche Mode “Enjoy the silence”, with Nail dressed as a King.  Pet Shop Boys were helped in the show by some dancers that made the difference: dressed in original ways, they were singing and doing incredible choreographies.

In my opinion they are a must see! Talent and good music mixed together can’t leave the fans disappointed at all.
