Dustin Hoffman greeting fans in the red carpet of his directorial debut with “Quartet” yesterday night. “Quartet” is the story of a group of retired opera singers in a retirement house who are organizing a concert to celebrate Verdi’s bday. The concert is disrupted by the arrival of an eternal diva played by Smith and the former wife of one of the residents.
