Videoplugger to the Annecy Festival 2015

The Annecy Festival will take place between 15-20 June in
Annecy France.

Videoplugger will be reporting from the event.

The Festival will gather 7000 professionals from all around the world, 513 exhibitors, 334 purchasers, 300 journalists, 500 movies, 8 rooms to watch the movies, a giant outdoor screen and 115 000 coming.

Among the 500 movies, 215 will be exposed to the visitors whose “Adama” by Simon Rouby, “Avril et le monde truqué” by Christian Desmares and Franck Ekinci, “Mune” d’Alexandre Heboyan and Benoît Philippon, “Pos Eso” by Sam, “Sabogal” by Juan José Lozano et Sergío Mejía Forero, “Sarusuberi : Miss Hokusai” by Keiichi Hara, “The Case of Hana & Alice” by Shunji Iwaï, “Tout en haut du monde” by Rémi Chayé, “Le Prophète” directed by Roger Allers and produced by Salma Hayek.

Undeniably, women are the heart of this 2015 edition. Starting with Florence Miailhe that will receive the “Crystal d’Honneur” for her lifetime achievement.

The jury will exclusively be composed of female directors, journalists, producers.

Furthermore, the Spanish movies will be highlighted thanks to the pioneering work of Segundo de Chomon and his dynamical work for the 3D industry.

This is the most important festival of the year for the cartoon movie lovers. The Annecy Festival enables professionals and producers to meet up and see which the new trend is.
