On the 10th of August 2016 London was waiting for David Brent’s return on the screen after fifteen years, but this time on the big one.
20160810_18060820160810_180250As soon as we arrived it was clear that something special was going to happen, Leicester Square had been transformed in a concert place. There was a long red carpet ready to bring the actors to a well-lighted stage in front of William Shakespeare Statue.
Not sure about how many people would have been there, we try to find out a good place were to see the actors. They were expected around 5 pm but just after an hour the first cars began to arrive. The very first who appeared were James Buckley and Clair Meek, followed by a very kind and pleasant Jo Hartley, she seemed very happy and enthusiastic to be there and she took so many selfies with the fans.

When the cheerful Emily Atack arrived, everybody was charmed by her in a white elegant dress, then it was the turn of the eccentric style of Tom Bennett who walked quickly along the red carpet.

It was so funny when the fiction band Foregone Conclusion arrived there: Michael Clarke, Andy Burrows, Steve Clarke and Stuart Wilkinson with their own girlfriends, they took more selfies together than with the fans as they were really happy to be there!20160810_182259

A shy and graceful Katie Piper, after a little problem with the low-necked dress quickly solved by the guy who was with her, walked proudly on the red carpet with many people starring at her.

Ricky Gervais suddenly appeared on the maxi-screens next to the Odeon sign while was talking with the journalists, so unfortunately we didn’t have the chance so see him. The same thing happened with Ben Bailey Smith.

This was just the preview of what happened next. The Foregone Conclusion played a real concert, and they played very well, making fans singing, dancing and laughing, a lot. It was a very nice show!
