Ludovico Einaudi played live in theater during screening of “This Is England” at the 56th BFI London Film Festival last Friday. Einaudi is a pianist and composer whose musics have become well known all around the world. His masterpieces have been used in many movies and advertisements, and “This Is England” is one of the most relevant examples. As Warp Film reaches its 10th anniversary, Director Shane Meadows and Producer Mark Herbert had wanted to celebrate it with a special dedication at the London Film Festival. They invited the whole cast of the movie plus Ludovico Einaudi and band Clayhill to play live. Einaudi accompanied certain scenes of the movie with the piano and played the famous “Dietro Casa” during the credits, Clayhill played their song “Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want” for the ending scene. It was a very nice initiative, very touching . Un grande piacere ! Grazie Ludovico e tutti, di tutto cuore…
