Great movie “This Is England” (from 2006) was screened again in theater at 56th BFI London Film Festival. The most amazing detail was that Ludovico Einaudi himself played the original musics in live in the hall during the movie. We may wonder why screening such a movie at this moment… Indeed, it has been produced by Warp Films which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Warp Film has become one of the biggest UK’s production companies and “This Is England” has been one of their biggest and best productions so far. Therefore, Director Shane Meadows and Producer Mark Herbert had wanted to dedicate a London Film Festival’s screening to this specific birthday. Both Shane and Mark went through the whole story of the filming giving us lots of anecdotes such as how they met, how they managed to achieve it, how they chose such and such elements of the movie (music, …)  Very touching to see the whole production team back together and remembering such details after 7 years. Plus, some actors were attending in the public.
