M:What was your motivation to do this film?
P:You know, for so long we have seen the Kennedy assasination through the eyes of the conspirational theory, you know, the true story the real emotional story has never been told.
M: Did you have any personal connection with the story?
P:No, just as a journalist I spend a lot of time cutting through mythology to find the more powerful dramatic telling of the story…
M: I guess you also interviewed a lot of people? Is there still a lot of emotional interest in the story?
P: Oh my god Yea..Its a story that…. For me the Kennedy mythology is such a defining moment inf a defining thing in American culture. Its importamt I feel to give the audience a move of what really was and not theory not fantasy.
M: What part are you most proud of in the film?
P: I love when they brought the casket of the plane, that sequence was fantastic, they couldn’t fit it couldn’t get what it was I love that.
