The Winners of Sci-Fi London film festival 2017.

The 17th SCI-FI-LONDON FILM FESTIVAL closes this Saturday, it is the UK’s major sci-fi event of the year. You can still catch the exclusive GAMESHOW – INTERACTIVE CINEMA, Short film programme, nightmarish Caught, the sci-fi noir take on Alice in Wonderland; Antimatter and the World premiere of Brit horror/sci fi film The Rizen. The festival has continued to grown since its start in 2000, Sci-fi is a genre that keeps growing in popularity according to the Guardian.
The Sci-fi London film festival has a programmed filled with World, European and UK Film Premieres alongside the regular classic events such as the 48 HOUR FILM CHALLENGE and Drm.am’s favourite SCI-FIDO, the world’s only cosplay for dogs!

This year’s competitions included the extremely popular ’48 Hour Film Challenge’ which requires all entrants to create a short film in just two days. The winner was ‘Missing Edge’ by Team Bustabowl who beat stiff competition and over 140 other entrants to be crowned the victor of this year’s challenge, an honour awarded to Rogue One Director Gareth Edwards in 2008.
Winner of The Sci- fi London 48hr flash fiction challenge was Sian Summers with his story ‘The Truth Value’.
